In the 2026 Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings, Hacettepe University was placed in the 201–300 band overall among 1,646 universities from 116 countries and regions worldwide.
Hacettepe University demonstrated strong performance across the Sustainable Development Goals, ranking 11th worldwide for SDG 5 – Gender Equality and 54th for SDG 4 – Quality Education. The University was also placed in the world’s top 200 for SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being, SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, while being ranked in the 201–300 band for SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.
