Hacettepe University offers certificate programs, professional development training, short courses, and foreign language training throughout the year to individuals who are not university students. These programs aim to support the lifelong learning, professional competency development, and personal development needs of different segments of society.
The training is conducted by three units of our university:
Hacettepe University Lifelong Learning Center; organizes training and certificate programs for all segments of society.
Hacettepe University School of Foreign Languages; offers foreign language courses and issues certificates upon completion.
Hacettepe University Turkish and Foreign Language Teaching, Application and Research Center (HU TOMER); offers Turkish courses and issues certificates.
HACETTEPE UNIVERSITY LIFELONG LEARNING CENTER
The vision of Hacettepe University Lifelong Learning Center is to become one of the leading centers in its field by providing educational services tailored to the personal needs of individuals of all ages and the demands of institutions, in line with the principle of lifelong learning.

Participants who meet the attendance requirements and/or pass the exams in the training and certification programs organized by the Center are awarded a certificate or participation certificate, depending on the type and nature of the program. These certificates are QR code-enabled and digitally issued, and can be verified at the following address: certificate management system

Hacettepe University is developing micro-credential education programs in addition to its formal academic programs in order to keep pace with current developments and support societal learning needs. Within this scope, it is planned to offer modular and accessible learning packages in areas such as digital literacy, entrepreneurship, new media, artificial intelligence, green transformation, and sustainability.
The Hacettepe University School of Foreign Languages Course Coordination Office organizes general or specialized language training courses for all segments of society. Courses are conducted through face-to-face or distance learning. Students who meet the necessary conditions at the end of the course are awarded a certificate of participation.
Participants who successfully complete these programs will receive QR-coded, digital, and verifiable certificates issued under the coordination of the Hacettepe University Lifelong Learning Center. These certificates will be aligned with the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

HACETTEPE UNİVERSITY SCHOOL OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES
The Hacettepe University School of Foreign Languages Course Coordination Office organizes general or specialized language training courses for all segments of society. Courses are conducted through face-to-face or distance learning. Students who meet the necessary conditions at the end of the course are awarded a certificate of participation.

- Foreign Language Proficiency Level Test (YDS) / Higher Education Institutions Foreign Language Exam (YÖKDİL) (German-Arabic-French and English)
- TOEFL IBT (Education is provided at two levels: Pre-preparation and Preparation.)
- IELTS (Education is provided at two levels: Pre-preparation and Preparation.)
- English Conversation Club
- Academic Writing Club
- English Preparation Exemption Course

HACETTEPE UNIVERSITY TURKISH AND FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING, APPLICATION AND RESEARCH CENTER (HU TOMER)
– Foreign students who will study at our university,
– Foreign students in our country under various projects such as ERASMUS,
– Anyone who wants to learn Turkish (without being a student) are provided with education.
Hacettepe TOMER students, even if they are only at our university temporarily to learn Turkish, can take advantage of all the opportunities offered to our university students with their TOMER ID cards.
TOMER organizes 3 different certificate programs.
