Hacettepe University Sustainable Teaching and Learning Center organizes seminars on academic ethics and plagiarism.
In this seminar, after an introduction to ethics and ethical problems in general, academic ethics issues will be emphasized. As in all workplaces, different types of ethical problems are encountered in universities. Ethical problems encountered in research and publications are among them. In particular, the fact that publications are taken as a basis in obtaining all academic degrees leads to many ethical problems in publications. Plagiarism, which we encounter in different forms, is one of the most important of these ethical problems.
