1. Higher Education Statistics – Council of Higher Education (YÖK)
The Council of Higher Education (YÖK), through its Data Monitoring Department, collects and publishes annual statistics on higher education institutions across Türkiye. The data are obtained from the Higher Education Information System (YÖKSİS) and form part of Türkiye’s Official Statistics Programme.
These statistics cover student enrolment, graduates, academic staff and higher education programmes. Student data can be examined by university, academic year, level of study and gender, allowing the representation of female and male students to be monitored over time.
The statistics are publicly available through YÖK’s official statistics portal, where users can access reports in Excel and PDF formats and examine data for individual universities, including Hacettepe University.
For the 2025 reporting year, the 2024–2025 academic year statistics provide gender-disaggregated enrolment figures for Hacettepe University.

2. Hacettepe University – 2025 Administrative Activity Report
Hacettepe University publishes an annual Administrative Activity Report containing information on its educational activities and institutional performance.
The 2025 report includes student enrolment figures, programme quotas, occupancy rates and admission-related statistics. These figures are reported as part of the University’s regular institutional reporting.
The report provides an additional source for examining student enrolment and admissions alongside the gender-disaggregated statistics available through YÖK.

Hacettepe University – 2025 Administrative Activity Report
The 2025 Administrative Activity Report includes student statistics provided by Hacettepe University’s Student Affairs Department as of 29 December 2025. Table 45 presents female and male student numbers by faculty, while Table 48 provides university-wide figures by level of study. Both tables include data for 2023, 2024 and 2025, allowing changes in student enrolment by gender to be examined over time.
