The main university-wide structures operating in this field include:

• Gender Equality Commission:
Established by the University Senate, this commission develops and implements policies to strengthen gender equality, conducts data-driven monitoring, and coordinates awareness-raising activities. It is responsible for preparing and overseeing the Hacettepe University Gender Equality Action Plan (2022–2026).

The unit provides academic, physical and social support to students with disabilities, including accessibility arrangements, exam accommodations, counselling, material support and awareness activities.
